Autumn Rain

from The Right Time by Kaîros

/

lyrics

The leaves become most beautiful
Right before they die
The cold winds start to blow
Dancing from the sky
The autumn rains feel different
From their older, summer brother
It’s not as warm or gentle
Still tickles the Earth, their mother

A moment is zero seconds long
So when will it end, our dance and song?
Bouncing, spinning, around we twirl,
An endless dance with a beautiful girl
Memories of spring and flowers’ bloom
The cold and dark of winter looms
The summer sun barely warms the trees
While their naked branches wave in the late autumn breeze

Where will you be,
When I need your warm embrace?
Will the 4 winds blow you home,
When another season shows its face?

Memories of spring and flowers’ bloom
The cold and dark of winter looms
The summer sun barely warms the trees
While their naked branches wave in the late autumn breeze
